The Piston Story

Where it all began 

Our story began in 2017 when our founder Nick decided it was time to develop his own take on some modern classics.

Inspired by precision engineering and a love of all things automotive, Piston Distillery was born.

Initially intending to only produce a London Dry and the smoothest of Vodkas, it soon became apparent that the world wanted more.

After perfecting our Distinguished London Dry from 14 rare botanicals, selected for their unique taste. We used this base to build a range of enticing flavours.

A playful spirit of adventure means that no stone is left unturned in our search for the perfect combination of rare ingredients.

From the first feel of our sculpted industrial bottle to the satisfying sound engineered into the removal of its lid, you’re enticed into the world of rich flavours and captivating aromas of pistons award-winning spirits.

We’ve been awarded prestigious double gold, gold, silver and bronze medallions at the San Francisco world spirit competition.

Now boasting 11 different, delicious and intoxicating drinks.

From our refreshing limoncello made using handpicked Amalfi lemons, to our dark sinister coffee tequila, piston has evolved. 

To pass forward our knowledge and allow you to immerse yourself into the heart of Piston Distillery, we operate two unique gin schools, offering different levels of experience in the artisan distilling world.
